Golf
Club Repairs
I offer a wide range of golf
club repairs and upgrades. The
most popular are as follows:
RE-GRIPPING
Re-gripping your clubs can
make your set feel like new. I
stock a nice selection of
grips at great prices. If
you’re not certain of what
size or type of grip you need,
I’ll be happy to measure
your hands, check your grip,
and offer a suggestion. If
needed, I’ll custom size
your new grips at no
additional charge. Most
golfers play with grips that
are worn and too small.
Periodically re-gripping your
putter is also a good idea. Many
golfers putt better with a
slightly larger putter grip.
RESHAFTING
If you have a broken shaft, I
can often replace it with an
identical match. If the shaft
is no longer available, I’ll
determine the closest match.
I stock a wide range of very
affordable steel and graphite
shafts.
Most golfers play with
shafts that are too long and
too stiff.
ADJUSTING
LOFT & LIE
The only way to determine the
appropriate lie angle of your
irons is through a dynamic
fitting outside, on the
driving range. It’s very
important be able to see the
ball flight.
Iron loft and lie
specifications can change over
time. Especially on forged
iron heads. It’s a good idea
to periodically have your
specifications checked and (if
needed) returned to your
desired specifications.
The lie angle of each of
your wedges and your putter is
very important, but overlooked
by most golfers.
SHAFT
EXTENSIONS AND REDUCTIONS
Sometimes a small adjustment
to the shaft length can
produce amazing results. And
that holds true from the
putter through the driver.
Most golfers putt better with
a shorter shaft because it’s
easier for them to get their
eyes over the ball.
Reducing the shaft length
on their driver makes it
easier for many golfers to
square the face at impact.
RE-SETTING
LOOSE HEADS & FERRULES
Unfortunately, epoxy sometimes
fails. Regardless of how much
you pay for your golf clubs, a
clubhead or ferrule will
sometimes come loose.
Fortunately, both can be reset
for very little cost.
ELIMINATING
RATTLES IN CLUBHEAD OR SHAFT
A loose piece of epoxy can
cause an annoying rattle.
Eliminating the rattle is
often quite easy.
Most repairs are completed
within 24 hours. If you have a
specific question about a
repair or pricing please feel
free to CONTACT
ME.
I’ll
look forward to hearing from
you.
